| Our first time at this event - a long day but successful! Both the Women's S3 8+ and "Men's" S3 4x- went in the Head2Head, with the Quad posting the fastest quad of the day (only quad of the day, but still...).
In the Regatta, the Women's Novice 4+ won their first round but lost out in the final. The "Men's" (Jo Heywood, Rob Heywood, Graham Targett and Steve Lawson) S3 4x- then won their straight final against Rob Roy to collect "virtual" pots, before Steve and Rob went out for one last race in the Vet C 2x-. Great fun, especially watching the starts of the Regatta races from our prime position at Pembroke College Boat Club (thanks to Rick!) |
